The Thanks-Giving Mindset

In Uncategorized on November 21, 2018 at 7:19 pm

Thanksgiving is really about a mindset of Gratitude.  Yes, this topic has been hashed and re-hashed. But, because of the times we’re living in, and the exponential deterioration of the world as we know it, I think it’s time to revisit this over-used term.

Although, we should be in a mindset of gratitude every day, Thanksgiving, as a holiday, should at least make us pause, and allow us to reflect on all those things we’re grateful for at least once a year.

So, what are we grateful for?

If it’s hard to think about, because our life is really a challenge right now and we’re wondering “why me?”, allow me to voice what I feel is miraculous to me and see if you resonate at some level.

  • I’m grateful for the miracle of my life, and for the Creator and Architect of it
  • I’m grateful for the Earth and how she sustains us with her abundance
  • I’m grateful for the stars in the heavens that allow me to ponder all possibilities
  • I’m grateful for my children, who have given me the reason to rise up like a phoenix
  • I’m grateful for my grandchildren, who give me the reason to persevere in creating change, in challenging times
  • I’m grateful for my Divine Compliment, who sees the real me
  • I’m grateful for my parents, who have provided the fertile ground
  • I’m grateful for the severe lessons that have polished me and softened my edges
  • I’m grateful for the enemies who have validated my choices and made me steadfast
  • I’m grateful for my freedom to express, to love, to live and worship in peace
  • I’m grateful to be in the present moment, making a difference no matter how small
  • I’m grateful for the times we’re living in, because it allows me to revere that which is wholesome, innocent and holy

I wish you and your family all the blessings and abundance, health and internal peace this Thanksgiving and always.

May you learn to forgive – yourself and others – so that you can release those emotional and spiritual chains.

May your memory be jogged with all those wonderful events in your life that made you stand in awe, laugh till it hurt, cry in joy, love with all your heart, and made you humble and grateful for the experience called life…

I leave you with 6 tidbits:

  • Make every day count!
  • Make wonderful memories!
  • Embrace everyone of them!
  • Be in gratitude for them!
  • Be there for others!
  • Give others great memories!

Blessings,

Ari Kopel
