I am the Light Warrior

And I make the difference!

I find myself speaking to myself.

The sounds of my muted words reverberate within the interior walls that I have built, that serve as my armor.

Their sound is hollow, getting swallowed by the all-encompassing emptiness that sometimes consumes me.

I am the lone traveler 

The realization sets in that I walk alone, along a rugged path with many forks. These lead to many destinations.

I don’t know where I’m heading.

The journey is arduous, laced with challenges that are beyond my capabilities at any given moment.

I stumble.

I fall.

I stagnate.

And every so often, I ask questions: should I stop now, and get some rest? Should I turn back now? What if I don’t make it? Which part of the fork should I take?

And because the journey is so daunting, I could find myself uttering the words: “What’s the point? Why do I even try…? Why continue to move forward…? Why fight for what I believe in…? Why do I hang on?”

But, I don’t utter these words.

 

Instead, I close my eyes and realize all that I am.

I’m a guardian, a protector, an ambassador, a facilitator, and a servant to all seeking refuge, assistance, inspiration, redirection — a second chance…

I am the wall where all evil stops cold!

I live in the moment, where each second is frozen in time like an ice sculpture that allows the observer time to study all the nuances of its form, a moment before it melts into another expression of itself.

I am Impeccable

When I give my word, that which I speak is done.

I move Heaven and Earth to make sure that my promises are kept.

I inspire, give hope and am the reason that many have a restored Faith.

I follow through with my actions to make sure there is positive outcome in all my endeavors.

I stay focused and positive.

I create wonderful, memorable experiences for others.

I don’t take myself too seriously. I laugh and make others laugh.

I sing out loud and dance, even when others are looking.

When I succeed, I don’t boast, but go quietly into private quarters to reflect on that Universal Force that inspires greatness.

I’m the observer and self-sufficient

As a Warrior, I choose forward motion: that which is of Creation; breathing life into ideas, projects and relationships that are yet to be born.

I am the fertile ground that nurtures giving, loving, sharing, helping and guiding.

I do not cave into the fear of not being reciprocated, appreciated, or acknowledged.

I don’t have a need to be seen…

or given special treatment…

or remunerated…

or loved.

I am the endurer of soul-pain

I face the pain of loneliness with grace and humility.

I face the humiliation of not being understood, or being misunderstood.

I face the anguish of being rejected by those that I love unconditionally, a love that is not of this Earth, but from a much higher and deeper level — a love not readily experienced in this reality.

I am the Warrior of Truth and Stand for the Light

I conquer all aspects of Cause and Effect.

I speak my Truth with passion.

I honor the right of others to speak their own Truth, as they too have their own journeys along rugged paths…

But, I stand firm on the experiences I have that serve as markers, leading me to my final destination.

I am compassion

I fight – and triumph – in spite of my unseen wounds.

I carry the burden of  inner scars caused by the betrayals of friends.

And I persist, regardless of my internal pain and solitude.

I show up and am fully present — my life an offering to that Unseen Force that breathes life into all things and allows me to serve until the utterance of my last breath.

 

I am not swayed

I stand my ground.

I am firm, unwavering, vigilant…

I’m ready to help those who seek shelter, encouragement and protection.

I’m there as a friend, a mentor, a counselor, a brother or sister — a defender of their right to live in freedom, dignity and peace.

I choose to be present, changing the course of the human condition one person at a time, until my life has touched and impacted all those that I can help reconnect with their fullest, God-Given Potential.

 

I am roused to face Life

I fully accept the challenges that life gives me.

And despite the brutality of participating, I will  engage in it anyway…

Because I am the servant of the Creator, and of the Created.

I am the Light Warrior…

And I make the difference!
